Today.
So, I have lighting crew as an assignment. Basically, the freshmen are free labor, and we get to hang lights and focus them and set it all up. It’s really neat (though kind of an odd work distribution). We got let out early tonight (9 instead of 10:30) so I headed to U-Hall with two guys from my group and we just TALKED.
We’re all actors, in different studios, and we just talked...

I’ve done it! I’ve taken the first steps to “get my foot in the door” so to speak. I just submitted my work to a dance company, to possibly work with them over the coming year! It’s really exciting; I worked hard to churn out & polish a writing piece as well as two contrasting songs (one instrumental, one all voices - yay three part harmonies with myself!), so...

Sometimes the simple things...
Can be the hardest for us to manage. I.E., this morning. I’m a little bit on the exhausted side, and not just from hitting the gym more regularly (I went to bed at 12 last night = just under 7 hours of sleep, but 5:30AM the evening before… a nice short cat nap that I’ll call a good night’s rest), so getting up this morning took a bit more effort than normal.
